One to One Parenting Support

One to one mentoring is a service for parents and carers in Harrow supported by the John Lyon Charity. It consists of 6 sessions, usually in the family home with a professionally trained mentor. This service is tailored to individual needs and circumstances and covers any issues that may be of particular concern. Typical areas covered include setting effective boundaries with your children; changing children's behaviour in the home and at school; introducing effective routines in the home in the morning and at bedtimes etc - you set the agenda. This service is available in 15 languages.

We have a team of trained Parent Mentors who will visit you on a confidential basis in your home.

Your personal mentor will spend time with YOU listening to your concerns about your child(ren) and help you to find alternative strategies for coping with common issues - no children present!

Bookings are taken as self-referrals or referrals from third parties.
